The technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, late Tuesday night postponed by one week the release of provisional list of players invited for the 2014 World Cup.
According to a statement released by the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Stephen Keshi, the Super Eagles gaffer had submitted a 38-man list to the committee on Tuesday for final approval.
While refusing to disclose the names on the list, Keshi directed journalists to members of the committee.
Although the reason for the postponement was not clear, there are indications that it might be unconnected with the need to allow for more consultations.
