Citibank Nigeria Limited has called on business and financial reporters to submit entries for the 2014 Citi Journalistic Excellence Awards, CJEA, competition. The award, which began in 1982, was introduced to recognise journalists for excellent financial and business reporting. Ogochukwu Ekezie, vice president, public affairs of the bank, explained that like previous winners, the best in 2014 will have the opportunity to attend a 10-day training seminar at the prestigious Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, New York, along with other winners from around the world. Ekezie added that the training, which will be held on June 2 and 11, 2014, is open to only business and financial reporters in print media and electronic services including online, TV and radio. Each journalist is allowed to submit one qualifying entry from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013 while entry closes February 20 2014.
