Theophilus Danjuma, a retired general and former Minister of Defence has commended the way President Goodluck Jonathan conceded defeat in the recently held presidential election describing it as a strange development in Africa.
Danjuma made the remark when the president paid a private visit to his residence in Abuja on Wednesday.
Reuben Abati, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity quoted the former Minister of Defence as saying during the visit that, “The manner in which President Jonathan conceded defeat is totally unAfrican, it is very important for Africa.”
