Eminem, Rihanna To Perform At “MTV MOVIE AWARDS 2014”

Organisers of the 2014 MTV Movie Awards have announced today that global superstars Eminem and Rihanna are set to take the stage for the first live performance of their number one smash hit, “The Monster” at the awards which is billed for the Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater L.A, US on April 14, 2013.

With one of the hottest collaborations released last year, both Eminem and Rihanna are making triumphant returns to the Movie Awards’ stage. Back in 2009, Eminem performed a medley of “We Made You/ Crack a Bottle” and then created one of the most talked about moments in Movie Awards history with Sasha Baron Cohen, while Rihanna performed one of her signature hits, “Umbrella” with Jay Z in 2007.

An irreverent look at the movie world, “2014 MTV Movie Awards” rewards movie greatness in quirky categories such as Best Comedic Performance, Best Villain, Best Kiss, Best Musical Moment, Best On-Screen Duo, Best Fight, Best Shirtless Performance and more. Voting for Movie of the Year will continue throughout the live broadcast of the show.

Other blockbuster moments to look out for at the MTV Movies awards this year include Additional performances by twenty one pilots, performing their new single “Car Radio” and Ellie Goulding & Zedd, performing excerpts from the “Divergent” soundtrack, the presentation of the “MTV Generation Award” to Mark Wahlberg by his fellow “Entourage” cast members Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon – the first public reunion for the cast ahead of their highly anticipated movie release in June 2015.
