Nigerian Breweries, makers of the Star brand, has announced the arrival of Star’s The Winner Is, the first ever music and game talent show in Nigeria.
The new show combines musical talent with the spontaneity and unpredictability of a game show to deliver entertainment to audiences across the country and beyond, while giving contestants a rare opportunity to embrace fame and fortune in a life –changing reality experience.
Star lager beer known for major music shows in Nigeria such as Star Quest, Star Mega Jam and the record breaking nationwide concert tour, Star Music Trek is pioneering a new vista in entertainment TV with the innovative combo of music and games to thrill Nigerian viewers.
The Winner Is, a premium global singing competition that delivers an unbeatable combination of competitive singing duels, instant money and dramatic decisions currently airs across the world including the UAE, China, Germany, Italy, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam and its entry into Nigeria on the Star platform promises to discover extremely talented Nigerians, turning them into superstars.

Contestants will be judged by 101 in- studio panel of music enthusiasts and specialists and will have the chance to negotiate a deal before hearing their fate. Star The Winner Is kicks off this April with auditions in five major cities across Nigeria including Benin, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos.
The Winner Is continues in Nigeria Breweries’ Star Quest tradition of rewarding the most determined and talented Nigerians with a credible opportunity to join the cherished league of the country’s biggest and brightest music stars.
