Fire Outbreak At Lagos International Airport

There was a fire outbreak at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday morning. The fire, which was quickly traced to the electric panel room on the second floor of the terminal by a combined team of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN’s electrical engineers and fire officers, was extinguished shortly after it started, preventing any serious damage to the building. Akure Airport Now Cargo Terminal

The Akure Airport has been designated a perishable and non-perishable cargo airport by the federal government. Stella Oduah, minister of aviation, announced this during her courtesy visit to Olusegun Mimiko, governor, Ondo State, recently.
