All Set for Lagos International Trade Fair

All is now set for the 2018 Lagos International Trade Fair. The fair, which is staged with the support and co-operation of the Federal and State Governments, will commence on Friday 2nd of November and last till Sunday 11th of November at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos and the adjoining facilities such as the Banquet Hall and the Cricket Pitch.

The annual business exhibition organised by the Trade Promotion Board and Nigeria foremost Chamber of Commerce, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) will features all aspects of business and economic activities in Nigeria.

This year, the Trade promotion Board of the LCCI will be more involved in the day to day activities of the fair as it will cover all aspects of business and economic activities in Nigeria, which offers a unique exposition for manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and users of wide range of goods and services as there will be an open opportunities for investment and trade promotion.

Vice President and Chairman of the Trade Promotion Board, LCCI, Gabriel Idahosa, at a press conference disclosed that over 200 foreign exhibitors from 16 countries and thousands of visitors from within and outside the country including businessmen, investors, customers, top government officials and representatives of Nigeria’s important trading houses and those seeking joint-ventures partnerships will be exhibiting at the 2018 edition of the fair.

He also stated that there is an easy means for people who want to participate in the fair as they can book online. “In response to this, the LITF website has been redesigned to enable online booking and payment. This year, exhibitors can now sit in the comfort of their offices; register, pay and book for space of their choices. This process has been designed to be seamless and friendly.

“It eliminates the time spent in coming to our offices to register and therefore enhance effectiveness on our part. I therefore call on our old and potential exhibitors to embrace this new process and enjoy the comfort on the platform. The rule of first pay, first serve will strictly apply.”
