As President Donald Trump of the United States makes good his mass deportation threat, 3,690 Nigerians are expected back home as the operation which targets one million undocumented migrants is launched.

The Nigerians affected by the mass deportation exercise, described as one of the largest immigration crackdowns in recent history, have reportedly been chained and handcuffed during the process.

According to sources, the Pentagon has mobilised a fleet of C-17 military transport planes to carry out the deportations, underscoring the scale and urgency of the operation.

In a bold warning, the White House has threatened sanctions and trade tariffs against any country that would not accept deportation flights, signaling a hardline stance on immigration enforcement.
The mass removal has sparked global outrage, with human rights groups and immigrant advocates condemning the reported treatment of deportees.

Families of those affected are calling for urgent intervention, as fears grow over what awaits them upon return to their home countries.
