Those going to work Thursday morning in Lagos, particularly those who had to work or pass through Obalende area of Lagos had a hell of time. People including workers and traders alike had to run helter skelter as some hoodlums started indiscriminate shootings.
It is said that law enforcement agents have been notified and efforts are on to bring the situation back to normal.
It is however not clear yet what caused the mayhem. While some said there was a likely clash between two rival cult groups, some said that one of the cult groups may have been on a vengeance mission.
Generally, what is advised is for people who have business around the area to stay away meanwhile.
