Election: Trouble Looms in Ifako Ijaiye, Ojokoro Area

Trouble looms in the Ifako Ijaiye, Ojokoro area of Lagos this morning as agents of the All Progressives Congress, APC, complain that they have been deliberately prevented from monitoring the election by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

For instance, at the African Church Primary School Polling Unit, Ifako Ijaiye Local government area, APC agents were seen complaining that INEC officials in the local government appear to have issued all the available party agent cards to agents of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the area.

INEC officials on the other hand explained that they had ran out of cards and are now in search of agents’ cards from neighbouring areas to issue to the APC agents.

In anticipation of the trouble this might cause, more policemen have been drafted into the area.
