Timothy Ibitoye, Ogun State resident electoral commissioner for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Monday, March 2, corrected conflicting figures as far as Personal Voters Card, PVC, is concerned in Ogun State.
Ibitoye said the actual number of registered voters are 1, 795, 794, while the PVC received so far from the National Headquarters of INEC stands at 1, 370, 340.
On the number of the PVC distributed so far in the state, Ibitoye said they are 860,076, while 425,454 PVCs are still been expected from the national headquarters in Abuja.
In all says the INEC resident, 63 per cent of the PVCs have been distributed so far. On the PVCs yet to be collected by their owners, Ibitoye said they stood at 510,264.
