Isiaka Adeleke, former governor of Osun State has recounted how an attempt was made to abduct him today. He said, “At 1:00 am some people in military, police and perhaps DSS uniforms with hood bombarded my house in Ede , insisting that the gate be opened for them. When we refused they started shooting.”
Adeleke added that “we fired back and they left after a while.” He said after the incident he relocated to his mother’s house. It was from there he went to his polling unit.
