A black flag belonging to Islamic State for Iraq and Syria, ISIS, has been hoisted in Kobani, a Syrian border town with Turkey. ,The airstrikes by America and Gulf state warplanes have failed to halt ISIS advancement whose determination is to capture more territories in Syria.
The flag was said to have been stood on a hill to the east of the town close to the scene of some of the recent strongest clashes between the Jihadists and the combined military forces.
ISIS militants have captured more of Kurdish towns in its recently intensified violence against the Kurdish. But the Kurdish fighters have vowed to regain the towns.
Meanwhile, Turkish government has placed its military on high alert against any eventual invasion by the insurgents.
