Jonathan Summons Security Chiefs Over Nyanya Bombing

Following another bomb blast at Nyanya18 days after the Monday, April 14 explosion, President Goodluck Jonathan has summoned security chiefs to a special security meeting in Abuja.

Reuben Abati, the president’s spokesperson, disclosed that the meeting “is on-going” in Abuja early this afternoon.

The recent bomb blast took place on Thursday evening, leaving 17 persons dead and several others injured. It is the second blast within a month around the same location; the first one having claimed at least 75 lives and leaving scores seriously wounded.
