Lionel Messi, Fc Barcelona Part Ways
Lionel Messi, the star footballer who had dreamt of playing for Barcelona football club in the coming season may have to exit the club. The reason has nothing to do with any major disagreement based on behaviour or non-performance, but because of financial handicap on the part of the club.
According to the report on fcbarcelona.com, Lionel Messi and the club did not agree to a new contract despite a supposed earlier agreement between the two parties.
Then it appeared that there was a clear intention that both parties were heading towards signing a new contract this week.
The failure to sign that agreement was due to financial and structural obstacles in the Spanish Liga regulations.
The outcome is that Messi will not be staying at Fc Barcelona.
The club thanked Messi for his contribution and wished him all the very best for the future in his personal and professional life.
