Members of the Gospel Apostolic Church, Lagos and Christians across Nigeria were thrown into a mourning mood on Tuesday when the news broke that Pa Samuel Sadela, pastor of the church had died.
The 113-year-old preacher reportedly died few hours before the commencement of a special revival programme that would have culminated in the celebration of his 114th birthday on Sunday, August 31.
A condolence register has been opened in the church premises for the man who was described as Nigeria’s oldest preacher.
