Ondo Guber 2024: Aiyedatiwa Maintains Early Lead, As Results Come in From the Local Governments Areas

Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, Ondo State Returning Officer for the office season governorship election, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State, formally opened the state collation center at about 12am today. Reports indicate that from all the results released so far, Lucky Ayedatiwa, Ondo State Governorship candidate of the All-Progressives Congress is maintaining early lead. As at the time of this report, results from 13 local government areas have been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Akinwumi said: “We have five more local governments, but we are going to take our recess now until 5am to receive some from Akure North, Okitipupa and Odigbo, then Ilaje and Eseodo.”
