On behalf of the management and staff of the Bayelsa State Board of Internal Revenue I, Godson Mark Torukuru, Executive Chairman, heartily felicitate with His Excellency, Governor Seriake Dickson, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, on the occasion of the 18th Anniversary of the State.
Sir, your administration has left no one in doubt of its resolve to move the state forward since inception. Your laudable imprint is visibly showing on all sectors of the state and the smile on the face of the people reveals their satisfaction with your performance so far.
The new NNPC Flyover, secretariat annexes, Azikoro Road, Oporoma–Yenagoa Road, Sagbama–Ekeremor Road, Ayama Road, Toru-Ebeni Bridge, Akaba Road, Ogbogoro/Famgbe Road and some numerous ongoing projects, employment, empowerment and agricultural scheme that will say bye-bye to hunger in the state as well as Traditional Rulers’ Council are some of the visible proofs that the restoration agenda is working.
It is a good thing to know that Bayelsa State is just 18 years and is already enjoying social amenities that even some older states cannot boast of. You have indeed proved your resourcefulness as a good manager of human and material resources. We are therefore proud to be associated with you and appreciate your commitment to the reinvention and development of our state.
