Nigerian sprint queen Tobi Amusan has once again proven her dominance on the global stage, storming to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Rabat Diamond League with a jaw-dropping 12.45 seconds, setting a new Meeting Record (MR) and Season’s Best (SB).

Amusan’s blistering performance shattered the previous meet record of 12.51s, held by American Brianna McNeal since 2018. The race, which took place just before the main broadcast, was packed with fierce competitors, but the Nigerian star left no doubts as she surged past the field with unmatched speed and grace.

Behind Amusan, Nadine Visser of the Netherlands clocked 12.67s to finish second, while Pia Skrzyszowska of Poland secured third with 12.69s — both recording their Season’s Best times.

Final Results – Women’s 100m Hurdles (Rabat Diamond League)
Tobi Amusan (NGR) – 12.45s (MR & SB)

Nadine Visser (NED) – 12.67s (SB)

Pia Skrzyszowska (POL) – 12.69s (SB)

The electrifying win cements Amusan’s place as a top contender heading into the peak of the athletic season and further solidifies her legacy as Nigeria’s track and field icon.

Nigerians at home and abroad are celebrating her feat, flooding social media with pride and excitement.
