Popular Nigerian Afrobeats star Zinoleesky has officially parted ways with Marlian Music, bringing an end to a significant chapter in his music career after nearly seven years.

The 26-year-old artist, born Oniyide Azeez, rose to fame under the label owned by Naira Marley, delivering street-pop hits like “Kilofeshe” and “Personal” that cemented his place in Nigeria’s vibrant music scene.

In a major career shift, Zinoleesky has now launched his own independent imprint, Zinodict Music, signaling a move toward full artistic control and ownership. The transition was confirmed through updates on his social media platforms, alongside the release of his latest single, Nostalgia, which dropped on April 23, 2026.

The new track marks his first official release under the Zinodict label and has already made an early impact, debuting at No. 104 on Nigeria’s Apple Music Top Songs chart shortly after its release. “Nostalgia” delivers a moody, reflective sound, complemented by retro-inspired visuals that hint at a new creative direction for the singer.
