The Hayford Alile Foundation, THAF has awarded scholarships to five undergraduates. The five undergraduates who were awarded N200,000 each were presented with the scholarship at an event held at the University of Lagos, today to mark the 74th birthday of Apostle Hayford Alile, founder of THAF.
The list of the lucky recipients of the THAF scholarship include Precious Azike, a student of Madonna University; Odunsi Olushola, Ishola Oluwafemi, both of Afe Babalola University and Oyegoke Festus of Benson Idahosa University.
At the same event, three other students received cheques of N900,000 each as scholarship. They are Sylvia Nnanan, Segun Omobolaji and Toluwaleyi Akande.
The event also witnessed the third annual lecture of THAF with the theme, Innovating for Market Distinctiveness.
The lecture was chaired by Fola Adeola, founder and chairman of FATE Foundation who was represented by Paul Andrew while Evelyn Oputu, Managing Director, Bank of Industry was the guest speaker at the event.
