Honours for a Veteran PR Man




The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Rivers State chapter, honours Jossy Nkwocha, head, corporate communications, Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals Limited, IEPL, Port Harcourt, with its award of professional excellence in public relations practice. Samuel Toby, chairman of the chapter, explained that the award was in recognition of Nkwocha’s immense contributions to the chapter, which has continued to enrich younger members with thorough knowledge of what public relations is all about through regular professional practice.

Elated Nkwocha said he was humbled and promised to continue to play active roles in the state and at the national level to enhance public relations in the country. Other members that were honoured are Frank Koko, chairman of the board of fellows, Casca Ogosu, immediate past council member; Medline Tador, general manager, Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation; and Karibi George, immediate past chairman of the chapter.
