The announcement was made by the state’s collating officer, Professor Duro Oni, the Deputy Vice chancellor Management Services of the University of Lagos, in Abuja: “Ogun has 20 local governments. There are 14 political parties and the total number of registered voters are 1,709,401. The number of accredited voters is 594,975. The votes scored by different political parties are as follow:

“As at the time we concluded at about 10pm last night, there were no reports of cancellation but this morning there were reports of cancellation in Imeko Afon in one polling unit. The number of registered voters in the unit are 397. In Abeokuta North, one Polling Unit was affected. Total number of registered voters are 708.” Oni added

APC had the highest number of votes in the presidential polls in Ogun state
