Chibok: Shettima Order’s Scrutiny of Video

 

Kashim Shettima, Borno State governor has ordered a rigorous scrutiny of the latest video clip showing some girls suspected to be the abducted girls from the government girls college in Chibok, in order to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of the video.

 

Shettima in a press statement on Tuesday instructed that the video be downloaded into mobile devices and sent to the Chairman of Chibok Local Government Area, parents, teachers, management of the school as well as schoolmates for identification of the girls.

 

Reading out the statement, Isa Gusau, Special Adviser on Media to the Borno Governor, said, “Governor Shettima has directed transfer of the video into mobile storage devices under the care of some officials, including the Chairman of Chibok local government area, who have been given an immediate task of showing the videos to parents, some of the freed students who know their abducted colleagues, teachers and management staff of Government Secondary School, Chibok for identification,” he said.
