Imore Gets N1.5bn for Education Sector

The Cross River State House of Assembly yesterday approved the withdrawal of N1.5 billion from the reserve fund for the execution of projects in the Education sector.

Jacob Otu- Enyia, chairman of the committee on Finance and Appropriation said the committee carried out a detailed consideration on the need to withdraw from the fund.

He said the fund would enable the state provide infrastructure to meet the national board for technical education, NBTE accreditation requirement for the take off of the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM).
