The Lagos State Government on Sunday said primary and secondary schools in the state would no longer resume on Monday, September 22 as earlier announced.
Lagos government said the schools would now resume on Wednesday, October 8.
With this decision, the state government joined other states in the South-West, which had postponed the resumption of schools in their states to October 8.
The southwest states had said the shift in resumption date would accommodate the October 1 Independence day and the Eid-el-Kabir holidays.
