A strange disease has broken out in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State, southwest Nigeria.
The disease whose name and cause has not been identified yet had already killed about 14 people as at Wednesday, April 15.
Dayo Adeyanju, the State Commissioner for Health said the weird disease was discovered on Wednesday and its symptoms include headache and loss of sight.
Adeyanju said groups and health institutions, both local and international, are already investigating the causes and treatment of the ailment.
The health commissioner urged residents of the area and the state not to entertain any fears and assured that the situation is under control.
