Ahead of the 2015 General elections, the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has announced that it will meet with stakeholders of all registered political parties in the state on Tuesday, November 4.
In a statement signed and released to reporters on Monday by Ken Nwosu, spokesman of the command, the police said C.K Aderanti, the state’s commissioner of police will meet with the stakeholders at Police Officer’s mess, Shobo Aribiodu Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
“The Lagos State Police Command wishes to inform the general public and Lagosians in particular that the Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command CP C.K Aderanti has convened a stakeholders meeting of all the registered Political Parties in Lagos State,” Nwosu said.
Although the statement did not give details of the planned meeting, it is believed that the meeting will focus on how to achieve peaceful elections in 2015 across Nigeria including Lagos.
