31 Confirmed Dead In Taiwan Plane Crash

At least 31 persons have been confirmed dead in a Taiwan plane crash on Wednesday. The plane, which had mostly Chinese tourists, crashed in a river in Taiwan.

A video footage has emerged showing the TransAsia Airways plane clipping a bridge as it came down shortly after take-off from a Taipei airport.

The plane, which had 58 people on board, broke up and the fuselage is lying half submerged in the Keelung River.

15 people have so far been rescued alive, with 12 still missing.
