Displaced victims of Boko Haram terrorist group taking refuge in Cameron have been hit by cholera outbreak in their camps, reports have said. About 80 out of the hundreds of victims are reported to have died.
The victims are among those who fled Haraza, Kunde, Tatsa towns of Borno state, believed to be Boko Haram stronghold and are now refugees in various Cameroon camps.
The cholera outbreak, it was gathered is now forcing the refugees to begin to retrace their steps back to Nigeria, to join their counterparts. Boko Haram has intensified its fight against the military and civilians in recent times.
