Advertisement Terms & Conditions

: Adverts that appear concurrently on homepage and other pages will attract a 20% surcharge on rate; Advert images must be provided by advertisers in JPEG, JPG and PNG formats only; Images must each be less than 29KB in file-size; Images must be provided by advertisers, in the exact specification for each location. TELL shall not provide image editing; Images would be used as provided by advertisers – TELL shall not correct any errors; Special sizes and locations are negotiable on request subject to technical feasibility; Advert dimensions are measured in pixels; Images would be rejected if they do not meet required specifications stated above; No image borders preferred (or simple 1px line black border); Only javascript code would be accepted as alternative to image material

: Flash (or gif) animation is accepted; Flash (or gif) animation must be less than 29kb in file-size; Flash (or gif) animation should be 18fps frame rate; Flash (or gif) animations must have a maximum duration of 10 sec; Flash (or gif) animations can be looped (i.e. looping is allowed); Backup image must be provided for flash (or gif) in case visitor does not have flash; Audio must be user initiated (on click: mute/un-mute), default is mute; No image borders preferred (or simple 1px line black border); Flash (or gif) must be non-expandable (i.e. it should not be expandable); English based language flash (or gif animation); Formats are gif and swf only; Only javascript code would be accepted as alternative for flash (or gif) material

: PromoBar allows a Text to be linked to an associated URL. PromoBar is a set of related Text Message, Link Text and URL; PromoBar Text Message must not be more than 54 characters max; PromoBar Link Text must not be more than 54 characters max; PromoBar Font type, size, colour and text background colour is solely based on TELL website UX design choices; PopUp Card only appears either when the website is first loaded (or after browser cache is cleared)

: An associated landing page URL is required to be provided for each advert image; An associated URL is required to be provided for the PromoBar texts; An associated URL is required to be provided alongside the PopUp Card image; An associated URL is required to be provided alongside the flash (or gif) animation

: You agree that TELL reserves the right to reject images which do not meet specifications; You agree that TELL reserves the right to reject images which contains inappropriate content; You agree that TELL reserves the right to reject images based on other reasons; You agree that TELL reserves the right to freely (without payment) use your advert artwork for miscellaneous purposes without your consent

: You agree that you have no input to TELL’s website design choices – irrespective of your advert placement; You agree that TELL is not responsible for the website which the given associated URL (provided by you) points to; You agree that you shall indemnify TELL against any legal issues which arise as a result of your advert placement

: Total/Week (inc VAT) is the actual amount payable per week for each banner specification; Total/Week (inc VAT) is NOT meant to be paid via website (website payment includes additional transaction charges omitted here

: Adverts should be prepaid before publication; Adverts rates are subject to review; Adverts can be emailed to adverts@tell.ng; Adverts can be delivered by hand/post (in CD or USB) to Tell Communications Ltd., Km 22, Lagos-Ibadan Exp., Ojodu-Berger Lagos; Week refers to a Calendar Week – consisting of 7 consecutive days
