Not less than 850 Nigerian soldiers who are on peacekeeping mission in Liberia would be quarantined for 28 days when they return to the country in March 2015.
The two battalions of the Nigerian Army presently in Liberia were formerly scheduled to return to the country in January but latest developments led to their arrival being delayed till March next year.
Major-General Obashina Ogunbiyi, Head of the Nigerian Army Medical Corps, said some Nigerian soldiers had been quarantined in Liberia. This became important after a Sudanese who went to their camp to pray with them reportedly died of the virus.
