Governorship candidate of Labour Party, LP, in Lagos State, Fagbemi Awamoridi, a professor, on Sunday, disrupted the announcement of results at the INEC state secretariat in Lagos.
Awomoridi argued that the electoral body wanted to declare results against the provisions of the Electoral Act.
He claimed that the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, did not supply adequate materials for the election. He also argued that his voter’s card was not issued after several complaints he made to INEC.
“As a governorship candidate, if I can’t vote, that’s means no election held anywhere in Lagos,” he insisted.
