Lagos Police Arrest Robbery Suspects

The Lagos State Police Force has arrested two armed robbery suspects, said Ngozi Braide, Lagos police Public Relations Officer in a statement made available to journalists today.   The statement said the duo of Tobi Babatunde and Mojeeb Mustapha were arrested by the Ijora Badia Division of the Force following a distress call that the armed gang was operating around the Seven-up under bridge, Ijora on Wednesday.

The police statement added that items recovered from the suspected hoodlums include three cutlasses; two empty cartridges, two arrows and broken glass blades used as missiles.   TELL gathered that the suspects had fired some shots into the air to scare people before robbing them of their belongings.
