Minister of Power, Works and Housing,
Mr. Babatunde Fashola commended the turn-out at his polling center. He expressed his satisfaction with the orderly and peaceful process.
Speaking to newsmen immediately after casting his vote, around 10.25 this morning, along with his wife, Abimbola, Fashola also stated that the card reader functioned properly during his accreditation process.
However, he said it was too early to give a general appraisal of the election process since it would require the report of other polling centres accross the nation to do so.
He commended the president, Muhammadu Buhari for showing exemplary leadership by coming out to vote quite early. This trait, Fashola stated, has always been the hallmark of the president. Story by Dejo Oyawale
