Like his principal, Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata, who lost his Oredo Ward 6, PU 11 to Asue Ighodalo, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, the Labour Party deputy governorship candidate, Prince Asamah Kadiri, senior advocate of Nigeria,( SAN) suffered a worse defeat scoring paltry 25 votes to the 100 votes garnered by the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in his Ward 1, Unit 6, Auchi, Etsako West local government area polling unit.

The ruling PDP trailed behind with just 13 votes., scoring 32 votes as against the 41 votes

Prince Kadiri, who performed dismally in his supposed stronghold, had earlier in the day after casting his vote, raised the alarm that the APC was engaging in vote-buying.
