The 2023 Governorship and State House of Assembly elections at Ofada ward 2, polling Station 018 , Obafemi Owode local government of Ogun state today March 18, 2023, started as early as 8.30 a.m. The INEC officials arrived early enough and voters’ accreditation commenced immediately after serial numbers have been given to all prospective voters. While there were great improvements in the performance of INEC officials’ conduct of this election compared with that of the Presidential and national assembly elections held on February 25 2023, the turnout however was lower, just about a third compared with the last presidential election.

The conduct was peaceful, orderly and devoid of rancour, which characterised the last Presidential elections at this same premises of the Obafemi Owode local government primary school, Arigbawonwo Mowe area of the state.
