How OritseFemi Escaped Death

Oritse Femi, the Double Wahala crooner and Adebola Adepitan, his manager, popularly called, Danku, narrowly escaped death in the early hours of Saturday, December 6 in a road accident in Lagos.

The popular musician was said to have been driving in his newly acquired 2014 Range Rover Evogue which was presented to him last week by his record label, Avatar, when the accident occurred.

He was said to have been chased by suspected criminals who were shooting after his car shortly before the accident occurred.

Danku who was also in the car and currently hospitalized explained that, “We were on our way from Surulere to meet D’Banj on the Island because Oritsefemi and D’banj were supposed to be on the same flight to South Africa to perform at the Big Brother Africa finals tomorrow, but as soon as we got to Stadium this black tinted corolla with four armed men inside started following us, I think they actually wanted to Kill Femi because they were just shooting, but Oritsefemi was the one driving and he didn’t stop, so while he was trying to dodge and escape them, we ran into a trailer”.

“We thank God we are alive, Oritse Femi and I are responding to treatment in a Lagos hospital,” he said.
