As APC hawks strategize ahead of 2023 presidency, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will require the grace of God to survive the intrigues with his reputation intact
It is forty-four months to the next general elections in Nigeria and just four months into President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term of four years but politicians are already executing their blueprints to capture the presidency in 2023.
For now, the problem of the All Progressives Congress, APC, hawks is not the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, but who among them will be the APC presidential and vice-presidential candidates in 2023.
There are many camps, many permutations, and many combinations. The first is that Osinbajo may be the preferred choice of some stakeholders for apparent reasons – competence, integrity, and loyalty.
