The Federal Polytechnic Offa Alumni Association organises a virtual press conference on November 29, in the build up of her forthcoming fundraising dinner and awards billed to hold on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Avalon Hotel, Offa, Kwara State.
Ayoade Adeyemo, national president of the association, while delivering his speech, said that this year’s edition is targeted at raising funds for the refurbishment of the sports facilities such as the (Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, Lawn Tennis Court and Football Pitch) of the Federal Polytechnic Offa community.
The Fundraising Dinner and Awards will also galvanise fund and feature breath-taking deliverables such as:
Raise funds for the refurbishment of the Sports Facilities and Equipment, Awards to different recommended categories of stakeholders
including Members, Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic Offa, indigenes of Offa and Erin Ile, friends of the Institution, to mention but a few and reunion.
He said, “The fundraise projection is
one hundred million naira only
(N100,000,000:00k), and we believe it is achievable through a concerted effort of all stakeholders. This is a call to build and support our Alma mater especially the sports team of the Federal Polytechnic Offa towards the next Nigeria Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA). This is premised on the fact that our Alma mater can produce the next generation of sportsmen of global repute, hence, the appeal for your support and donation as well as anticipated connection with individuals and corporate organisations.”
Adeyemi thanked the leadership of the institution for their unrelenting supports “The leadership of the polytechnic at different
times have been helpful in the formation process, but the greatest support came during the present leadership of the Institution led by Dr Abdullateef Ademola Olatunji, FCA. I, therefore, want to appreciate the current and past Rectors of the Institution for their support at different times and thank the entire management and staffers for their cooperation as well”.
