As from Friday, January 16, new travel and trade rules between the United States and Cuba would take effect, U.S. Officials say.
The new measures include allowing U.S. Citizens to use credit cards in Cuba and for U.S. businesses to export some technologies to Cuba.
Further more, Americans would be able to take home up to $100 in alcohol and tobacco from Cuba.
The new, relaxed travel rules come after the two countries agreed to restore diplomatic relations severed in 1961.
