A disturbing new twist has emerged in the viral story surrounding the alleged initiation of a baby by cult members, as the Vikings (DNKI) confraternity claims to have captured their own Number 1 leader in connection with the incident.

According to reports shared on social media by the group on Monday, the alleged arrest took place in Nsugbe, Anambra State (Naijalina Town Deck).

The full interrogation video, according to sources, was shared on a Telegram channel linked to the Vikings group.

This latest development follows earlier reports from October 17, when several suspects were said to have been arrested in Amukpe, Sapele, Delta State, in connection with the same baby initiation case — a story that was initially labelled as unconfirmed.

Now, the Vikings are alleging that the Nsugbe leader was also present during the controversial initiation, though no independent verification has been made to substantiate these claims.

Authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the latest video or the alleged capture.

As public outrage over cult-related violence continues to grow, security analysts and community leaders have once again urged Nigerian youths to reject cultism and report suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies.
