‘I will reintroduce Okada in Lagos’ – PDP Governorship Aspirant

Babatunde Oladele Gbadamosi, PDP governorship aspirant for the 2015 General election in Lagos has said that he will reintroduce the use of commercial motorcycles, popularly called Okada, in the state if he becomes the governor.

Gbadamosi said “the ban of Okada in a place like Lagos where Lagosians spend hours on the roads is bad.”

He said most Lagos roads are horrible and need to be fixed before Okada can be banned.

“I will reintroduce Okada in Lagos but regulate it in a way that Lagosians will not be further subjected to hardship on the roads,” he said.

He said this today at the PDP ‘South-west sensitisation unity rally’ held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS Lagos State.
