Barely five months after one of its Choppers crashed into Lagoon in Lagos, another Bristow helicopter marked 5N-BQJ which departed ERHA Platform, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, enroute Lagos State, was ditched into the Atlantic Ocean, 95 nautical miles into destination at about 10:20am local time.
As the Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB said in a statement, all the eleven persons on board, including two crew members, were rescued alive.
Meanwhile, Tunji Oketunbi, head, Public Affairs of the agency, said the AIB has commenced investigation into the incident.
