Bitcoin has powered back above the $90,000 mark, sparking a renewed surge across digital asset markets and driving the total cryptocurrency market capitalization beyond $3 trillion.

The flagship cryptocurrency rebounded from recent lows around $87,400, injecting roughly $80 billion into the broader market as traders ramped up year-end bets on a stronger cycle heading into 2026. The recovery has reignited bullish sentiment after weeks of heightened volatility.

Analysts attribute the rally to a combination of strong institutional participation, led by continued inflows into spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and shrinking Bitcoin supply on exchanges. With fewer coins available for sale, buying pressure has intensified, supporting higher prices.

The move comes even as traditional safe-haven assets such as gold and silver pulled back from recent record levels, signaling a shift in investor appetite toward risk assets. Online, crypto enthusiasts shared bullish charts projecting steep upside into 2026 and 2027, adding momentum to the renewed optimism.

Skeptics, however, remain cautious. Long-time Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff described the rebound as a potential selling opportunity, while other analysts warned that macroeconomic uncertainty and profit-taking could still trigger sharper corrections.

Despite the divided outlook, Bitcoin’s swift return above $90,000 has once again highlighted its market-moving power, as investors weigh short-term risks against longer-term expectations for the next phase of the crypto cycle.
