Tension was high at Ward 2, Unit 2, G.R.A in Benin City where the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, John Odigie-Oyegun had been accredited to vote when voting could not commence because of absence of result sheets. Oyegun had demanded from the INEC officials if there were result sheets to which the electoral officer, E.O drew a blank. After checking from the main polling unit, it was clear that there were no results sheets. Oyegun came back to announce to the anxious voters “ladies and gentle men, go and sit in your shade. There is no result sheet”‘

Many of the voters insisted, “no result sheet, no voting”” Oyegun was miffed why INEC would want to make people to vote without result sheet.
