At 2pm Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State cast his vote at Ward 8, Unit 14, Ubima at Ikwere LGA.
He expressed disgust at the spate of insecurity in Rivers State.
Amaechi said he personally saw a decapitated man in one centre and also commented on the attack on a TELL journalist and another reporter with Cable Online, a web publication, at Omuamwa community in Ikwere LGA.
Meanwhile Nyesom Wike, the PDP candidate has accused Amaechi of breaking the peace pact they signed by allegedly resorting to violence.
Asked if he will accept the result of the election, Amaechi quipped: ”I’m not the party.”
