Yetunde Onanuga, a business management expert, has emerged the running mate of Ibikunle Amosun, governor of Ogun State for the forthcoming 2015 governorship election.
Onanuga was presented to the leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, today in Abeokuta, the state capital.
In his address, Amosun described the 54-year-old indigene of Ijebu-Igbo,in Ijebu North Local Government Area, as a worthy partner in the mission to rebuild the state.
Onanuga, while expressing her appreciation to the party leaders and the governor, promised to be “faithful, loyal and honest in the service of Ogun State,” while expressing hope that the party will win the coming election.
Amosun had to choose another running mate ahead of the 2015 elections following the defection of his current deputy, Segun Adesegun, from the ruling APC to the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
Adesegun is vying for the governorship with Amosun at the 2015 general elections on the platform of the SDP.Follow Us on Social Media
