Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid manager, has insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo is fully aware that his outrageous behavior in the last weekend 2-1 victory over Cordoba was unacceptable.
It would be recalled that the Real Madrid forward was shown a straight red card after attacking Edimar, Cordoba defender, violently on Saturday, January 24.
Ancelotti who revealed at a press conference that Ronaldo would use his absence to make sure he is at his top form when he returns against Atletico Madrid insisted that he was the first to apologize after the act.
“He made a mistake and he’s fully aware of it. He has apologized for his actions and will accept his suspension without any objections,” Ancelotti said.
He however seized the platform to clear the air that the striker is battling with some injuries.
“He does not have any problems with his knee or any other physical issues. He will be there for the game versus Atletico.
“He has fully recovered from his tendon problem. There is absolutely no truth in reports that he is injured,” Ancelotti affirmed.
