Desmond Elliot, popular Nollywood actor, has won the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary ticket to represent Surulere constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly on December 2. He defeated a two-term incumbent, Kabiru Lawal with a wide margin.
In another development, Kenny Saint Brown lost Ikeja constituency primary election for the Lagos State House of Assembly to the son of APC spokesman, Lai Muhammed.
Elsewhere in Ogun State, Dayo Adeneye, popular broadcaster and entrepreneur lost the primaries election for the Ogun State House of Assembly.
